Bates Custom Homes, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Thomas Richard Bates Jr.
He is a lifelong resident of Winter Park
...His wife Nathalie along with their three children Campbell, Tommy III, and Beau keep him busy at home when he is not working. The majority of his immediate family reside in Winter Park as well.
Tommy has been in the construction business throughout his whole life. He worked for a commercial developer during the summers through his high school years. He also worked for a trim company for 5 years learning the importance of attention to detail. After graduating from Winter Park High he went on to receive his Under Graduate Degree in Communications from Rollins College. He then attained his Masters Degree in Business from Stetson University of which he held the title of President of his class.

Bates Custom Homes Inc. is a family owned business providing General Contracting Services in the greater Central Florida area and New Smyrna Beach for over 20 years. Our projects range from interior renovations such as kitchen and bathroom remodels to complete whole home renovations. We also do additions as well as new builds from the ground up. We specialize in taking older homes/condominiums and turning them into beautiful masterpieces.
Our mission is to give our Central Florida Clients the highest quality workmanship and the most spot on attention to detail no matter what size project. In addition to transforming old homes into new custom homes, we work alongside architects and designers to take a homeowners concept of their dream home and build it into existence.
